This video follows an action-packed one-day trip through Fukui Prefecture, utilizing the earliest departing Shinkansen and returning on the last train of the day. The journey starts aboard the Kagayaki 501 Shinkansen departing at 6:16 AM, heading towards Fukui. After arriving at Awara Onsen Station, the travelers have approximately 11 hours to explore the region before catching the final train back home.

The first stop is the dramatic coastal cliffs of Tojinbo, a famous scenic spot known for its rugged rock formations. However, the visit is met with an unexpected accident, adding some tension to the otherwise adventurous trip. Afterward, the group enjoys a morning meal featuring the local specialty, Seiko-gani (a type of snow crab). They then visit Tojinbo Tower for breathtaking views of the coastline and continue to Mikuni Minato, a preserved Edo-period port town with traditional streetscapes.

The itinerary also includes some time to relax at Awara Onsen, one of Fukui's well-known hot spring areas, where they take a refreshing day bath at 'Sentopia Awara'. Switching to the Echizen Railway, the journey proceeds to one of Fukui's most famous attractions, the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. This highly regarded museum houses an impressive collection of fossils and dinosaur exhibits, making it a must-visit for any traveler interested in prehistoric life.

The evening brings a visit to the renowned local eatery 'Akiyoshi', where the group enjoys some of Fukui’s beloved soul food. Not willing to let the adventure end just yet, they make a quick trip to Ashiwa-yama, a nighttime observation spot near the station that offers beautiful illuminated views of the city. Finally, with just moments to spare, they successfully board the last train home, bringing the thrilling one-day exploration of Fukui to a close.
